You don't need to be a jerk. You don't know this person's situation. They are probably not literally homeless. They may have not renewed their lease and were in the process of looking for a new apartment before this shit went down.
If you were homeless you didn't make the right choice. You had 3 options and I guess you went for NOT the right one. Also if it was homeless state you could have went for TM emergency funds. List can go long if you left the company....
401k hardship, loan, fed stocks, severance pay? Stop the trolling or either smell the coffee and be smart with your choices
