I haven't seen any mention at all on here concerning Store Scanning Specialists or Store Systems Integrators Anybody know if they plan to keep us around in the SW?

MA here, our SSIs are considered part of the front end team now. They can't afford us in most stores. Stupid all around.
SSI positions went to metro a few years ago in the NE. Didn't work out so well, so they put SDAs (store data administrators) back in the stores with oversight by metro SSIs. SDA was a lower position with less responsibility and less pay. Then they phased out the SDA position in my store over a year ago and Customer Service has taken over many of the duties. That's the plan for the rest of the region as well. We still have the metro SSIs, but ours went from covering 3 stores to covering 5 stores when another metro SSI left and was not replaced. He basically spends 1 day a week in each store.
SSS is now part of CS team at at least one store.
in FL i heard that CS teams will be taking on responsibility for scales throughout the store but haven't heard anything about SSS/SSI
I bet it's going to 1 MSI per metro & SSS is staying the same for now. That will probably change once they roll out tare audits through the Psions. I give SSS 6 months tops.
They can't do that unless they don't care about the W&M audits anymore. No way one SSS could do 2 audits per team per month for 3,4,5,6+ stores
we already got our pt20, this is bad
IT looks like they are going down to one per metro
