Each region was given a target to hit for cuts to labor by eliminating positions. It was up to each region to decide how to achieve those cuts. TMs who held those positions will have to find work elsewhere in the company or take a severance (based on length with the company). At least in the region I work in, many of these TMs were highly paid and will likely not find a job within the company at the same rate. So, many of these TMs will end up leaving the company, technically not by layoff, but because they can't afford to take such a step down in pay. So sad for these really knowledgeable, long term TMs-they are the heart and soul of the company
