Yes the whore has a brain but she's a whore that no one is going to pay for so let's move on and put this piece of crap in the loss column already. We all know the shortcomings of the programming, we've seen it around the office, it's AI is missing a couple of letters: The F at the beginning and the L at the end.
This was always addressed in the Barbie A.I. failure thread.
Considering The Toy Talk people invented the concept and have been doing the heavy lifting, it sounds promising. It's odd though that some of the things Marketing and design are objecting to are being discussed so late in the game. They should have been in the design document to Toy Talk months prior so that it was clear.
This Barbie may do well as an item, but unfortunately it won't be enough to turn around the brand. Until they figure out a marketing strategy to make Barbie relevant over more than beauty and fashion, she'll continue to be bland and characterless when compared to other brands.
