Anonymous113585, I have to agree with Anonymous113553 that you are a moron or have a reading comprehension problem. The OP mentioned he/she bought PUT options, which gives him/her the ability to sell stock at at price specified by the strike price of the PUT option. Obviously, the OP is using that option to hedge against a falling stock price of his/her unvested RSUs. Example: You have 100 shares of unvested RSU's...You buy 1 PUT contract that gives you the option to sell 100 shares at $65/share. The contract costs you $1/share when the stock price was $68-9/share. Stock price falls to $62.... Your 100share of unvested RSU lost $6-7/share... That put option though gives you the right to sell at $65/share and the option contract is probably roughly worth $5/share now. That $6-7 loss on your unvested RSU is reduced by that $4 gain in your option contract or if you have vested shares, gives you the right to sell those shares at $65/share. Before calling people morons, perhaps you should get your dick out of your ass and know what you are talking about...since obviously, your dick does more thinking than the other head you have...moron.....

@113422: Are you a moron? What company gives PUT OPTIONS to its employees? The OP clearly bought the options to protect against QCOM tanking.
