Exactly. That's why I say you are a f***ing moron if you use your own money to buy company shares. These executive people aren't necessarily selling because they don't believe in the future.they are selling because they have so many shares they schedule to sell some of periodically to cash in regardless of the stock price.

Its the only way for them to get around being an insider and being heavily restricted to when you can sell.

When you , a peon employee, use your own money to buy more shares on top of what the company already given you, you are basically funding these senior manager's Porsches and multimillion lifestyle. You are betting that you know better than these senior managers, despite them having more information on the true nature of the business versus you. You are betting that you will be able to get a higher price than what these executives have sold to you at... And frankly you are being stupidly greedy. Because if you really believe in the future of the Q, your existing rsu espp grants will be more than enough. And if the future is dismal, it wont matter how many shares you have.
