Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

So if we have 2 months to hunt for jobs internally. How will we know what organizations are not affected to hit up for a job?

Unfortunately you will not, you will probably see at hat any position you apply for will be open and you will not hear so see any traction on your posting till close to your last day on payroll

Reqs are frozen, but we were told that interviews can still take place. You can look all you want, it does not mean you will be hired.

That's a good question - I hope someone posts a reasonable answer here

Glad they are heading overseas with most of their business - just leave them to ISIS.

Have you seen the news today. ISIS is attacking American companies. They need to learn that whatever goes up comes back down and whatever goes around comes around.

I've heard that only ATO (John Donovon's chain) was affected, but I can't say that with 100% certainty.

Also, supposedly all organizations that are under surplus conditions will not be able to open up reqs for new positions. So if you see a posting it's likely from a group that isn't affected.
