I think it's less ironic and more just plain disingenuous, Anonymous136789. The timing of those ads, and their coinciding with the entire fleet going 3rd party was either deliberate or an oversight, which leads one to the conclusion that it was the result of either a lie or sheer incompetence - two bad choices to pick from, either way you slice it.

Actually had someone call the store and demand someone deliver them toner. Tried to explain items have to be ordered through dot com to get delivered and they reply saying "Stop making excuses, I've seen your commercials, you deliver, I need that toner, get it here by 3". I said, sorry, not happening, have a good day and hung up.

It's pretty ironic they start the ad campaign showing a delivery person in a red Staples shirt the same time they are outsourcing deliveries and closing SDOs.

Dallas SDO had third-party dynamex backed out of the deal, hell they couldn't finish the routes so they gave up. Now staples giving us 70 to 100 stops a day without any (Vaseline ) if you know what I mean. Guys are looking for employment elsewhere rapidly and management encourage folks if you don't want to be here bye bye , do not transfer here it SUCKS

And saw a new ad staring the phony delivery driver. What a crock of s**t. It should be a crack head driving his lime green conversion can from 1977.
