Where are the articles about the million of dollars in tax credits do this companies get to create and keep jobs in US?

AT&T—Telecommunications giant AT&T announced it will take a $1 billion loss in the first quarter of 2010 because of healthcare changes from the Obama administration. This charge is the biggest announced to date, and it comes from a company that began 2010 by cutting jobs. Just recently, AT&T eliminated another 136 jobs in San Francisco. While this is credited to the dying landline business, it’s hard to imagine how AT&T could add any jobs in the face of the extra charges from Obamacare.

What do you think? Is the healthcare legislation really going to add millions of jobs? Or will it cost more jobs than it creates?

The government cut funding to mass lay off notices. Don't expect to see them any more, its bad for government PR.

how is that AT&T reduced the workforce without public layoff notices.

My source indicated Amdocs issued WARN Act notices in California, where they have stricter requirements, but AT&T and contractors avoided having to announce reductions in St. Louis, and many other cities all over US.

AT&T has done a number of outsourcings since 2006-ish to different companies include Accenture, IBM and Amdocs. I was part of a 1,000 person division in IT which was outsourced to Amdocs in 2008., to record 4200 to date.

The healthcare mandate fully kicks in on January 1, 2016. Finally someone has connected the dots!!!
