PROJECT ALPHA NEEDS TO START WITH THIS GUY!

Chevron Corp. Chief Executive John S. Watson was paid $26 million in 2014, up about 8% from $24 million the year before.

The biggest increase was in Mr. Watson’s pension benefits, which grew to $7.4 million last year from $3.8 million in 2013. Otherwise, Mr. Watson saw his base salary increase slightly to $1.83 million from $1.77 million, while his stock awards fell slightly to $4.8 million from $5.8 million.

If Chevron doesn't get rid of all the inept managers and supervisors that exist throughout the enterprise and don't use this opportunity to jettison the non productive workers that are everywhere, you will see CVX continue to tumble down to new lows. Cutting $1 billion through Project Alpha is necessary, but the proper cuts are needed to ensure this scenario is not repeated for a very long time. Unfortunately, it's the inept managers and supervisors that are deciding who goes and who stays. Pure nepotism and chaos.

Project Alpha is just a corporate name for Project Kool-Aid. The jet-setting Chevron execs took about a month to okay the Project Alpha name for the latest round of musical chairs. That's what they do. Everybody knows that.

interns know jack shit. Watson takes them to lunch and spoon feeds them The Chevron Way. Most of them are the children of Chevron managers. So this person claiming to be an intern is probably just as stupid as they appear. With at least one parent in Chevron management, their brain cells must be damaged beyond a reasonable doubt.

That's right, if you were really an intern, you would know what the F is going on.

It's a project where people are alphabetized and then eliminated one by one

Project "Alpha" (appropriately named). This is when the Alpha males (and females) in the company eat their young. - Just to make light of the subject.

@None - nailed it. I'd add 'blood sucking' before the reference to BCG
