Politics has a lot to do with who will get the axe. Some dead wood will remain because they kiss up to Managers and some great people will get the boot.
Indians are like cancer cells, every company they go, will lead to company dismantle, along their way, making everyone suffering.
Anonymous120223: I think that way to go...big companies have their own issues and most of the times we need to work in that perimeter.I am suffocating too and want ti go back to small/medium companies where I had lot of fun and learning before. It's good to experience working of big companies for few years to get feel of in-efficiencies but for engineering professions it no longer fun-place to work.. way too much politics and bureaucracy..
Yes, yes I admit already I never complained but that's why I invested and saved everything I could (note I am not @fumoney ) from options, bonuses, RSUs and religiously maxed out 401K and ESPP thus I all take my punishment severance package and quietly leave. Good luck y'all!

you will be booted out because you just worked as slave and did no question status quo....We found cheaper labor somewhere else and now you are no longer useful for us..it's very simple biz decision.

At this point I don't think anyone knows who's getting the boot. Your job could be eliminated regardless of your performance. But who knows you could be safe?
