Message to executive leaders of EDMC

The employees do not like nor trust you. You are simply being used for a short term paycheck. Everything you say and do gets leaked to the media within minutes of it happening. Nice job creating such a great culture. You reap what you sew doucheface! Don't like it? Well that's just too bad isn't it! See you in court. Signed, The thousands of people/students you have screwed over.

Does that apply to you? You appear to be part of the problem EVERYWHERE since your FIRST assumption is a reference to race. You're not even worth replying to but I just wanted you to know that others do try to discuss things rationally, whether they agree or not. You simply want everyone to get on here and post simple crap that sounds like a redneck would say in a bar. Funny, they may have lost their job or will, however; they are still being civil. Why don't you go loot a store? Your response seems like that's the type of character you have (saying or doing something that makes no sense for the action at hand). 072 and 308 are probably just upset that after they get separated they can't cheat on their significant others in the parking lot. Like most of the managers there they probably slept their way to the top. At one point the HR rep was having quickies at lunch with a Director down at the Pennsylvanian. Well until corporate got word of it and had to fire that pretty little blonde for sleeping with a bald headed senior citizen. That place needs to close as its moral compass only points towards screwing everything including students.

You made the ignorant statement - defend it. What "facts"? Why would someone NOT post here if they disagree with the company? Just because they defend others does not mean they are a follower. If you had any sense you'd know that the best managers typically don't run around telling everyone what they have done to try and make things better, they simply do their job and try to make things better for those under them. Do you work in every department to know what every manager does? Probably not. If you do then you are one who is the problem because you have access to make more positive change. Also, to think that EVERY person (manager) is a lowlife that only feeds off the weak is a truly ignorant point of view. Yes, there are PLENTY of bad apples that have caused problems but fortunately there are probably MORE that have the best intentions but no way to fix something that obviously can't be fixed. Your callous replies are simply a whiners way of pointing fingers and blaming instead of actually understanding that not everyone is a jerk. 072 - of course I am mildly curious to see if your "knowledge" has any factual basis. Here is the sad, sad, thing...... If you were as "straight And narrow" as your post suggests, you would NOT be posting here...... Yes, there are employees that, like you, still believe the nice, tidy opinions that EDMC dishes out so readily when c hits the fan...... I was just like you!! I believed everything upper management had to say.... I was a "good person"......I felt it was my duty to "help" the company dig themselves out of the situation (that they had "unfairly" been accused of)... Koolaid? Cherry, please....... And please use my red sippy cup......lol....... My heart broke when EDMC decided that my hours and hours of unpaid overtime , dedication and trust was no longer useful to the company. I loved the company and their mission statement. How sad was it when I learned that they had turned their backs on me? I achieved goal metrics constantly! I loved my job and loved my students. I still do not understand why the h they deceived me anyway, I worked for years and years for this company and was completely unprepared when they turned their backs on me and presented me an ultimatum. " Here, (employee that I will make life a living HELL for, in case you do not accept the offer of a COMPLETELY unattainable Peformance Improvement Plan - Jesus Christ himself could not have attained these unrealistic metrics!!!). Achieve 100% of these totally unrealistic goals or lose your job with NO severance. What would you do? I still have a household to support and hungry worthy to feed! Anyway, I am sure you can figure out the rest of the story....... I wish I hadn't been naive enough to buy in to their every move.

Not every EC member or mid-level manager drinks the "Koolaid". Some actually have the guts to tell others how they feel or put themselves "out there" for the (hopefully) betterment of the schools they work with. Often times those who are dismissed or leave (whether it is their choosing or some other exit) have burned bridges because they had the guts to tell someone they were ignorant or had no sense when it comes to building, and KEEPING, relationships with customers and community.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Wait till they lose those nice salaries and have to settle for a $32k per year telemarketing or customer service job. It would be better if they left EDMC off their resume completely but then they have a nice 5-7 year gap in their employment history. Or they could always flip burgers for $15 an hour because that's about what their skill sets are, flipping apps. It'll be nice to see them on the other side of the underemployed market trying to scrape by on modern day sweatshop wages.

The "leaders" reap what they sow. We will see how many managers wind up waiting in line for government cheese (to go with their sippy cups of Koolaid). It isn't always a "civilian " who gets cut. EDMC has carefully orchestrated this for months.
