Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

CCI execs and enrollment management should definitely be investigated on criminal charges

But let's not let the online enrollment reps get away scot free. The vast, vast majority of them were willing accomplices...and paid far above their true market value to do it. Prosecutors should go through HR records, find the enrollment reps making $55,000 and above, and listen to some recorded calls. CCI probably deleted them, but they forgot the vendor of the call system keeps them. All crooks need to be held to account.

Remember the FBI guy soliciting info on this site? I am sure there is someone somewhere building a case. In all honesty, billions cannot just disappear, right? So, no diplomas, no degrees, billions paid in by the government, I'd say CCI execs are easy targets.

AGREED!!!!! someone MUST be accountable for all of this. Many many lives were effected due to people being greedy!! So Jack gets off the hook for everything, when instructors lost their jobs, in turn might lose their homes, cars and other things... Students lost the continuity of their education? Some, who had 1 week of school before going on extern? And what about the campus who offers ADN programs? what about them?

I noticed many at Heald would not put items in writing, even as things got worse.

But there were recordings of conversations!

After reading what "Watch with the generalizations.." wrote, it's no wonder CCi was doomed.

Your missing the point. Admissions is a sales gig. No way should someone with a HS diploma/GED, or an AS degree be making almost as much as the faculty who have earned a Master degree to teach these idiots. There was a jerk making over 85K a year due to all the bonuses they got for signing up students. It is easy to sell the dream, but harder to keep them coming to class. Now all of those students did get free stipend checks,

I think it's wreck less to speak of ALL admissions rep paid over 55K to be up to shadiness. Some reps where just good at what they did and provided good service. I also made over 55K, on a on ground campus.. But also well above and beyond for my students and have SEVERAL students that are actually very successful and doing well. While many students in the end fell victim to the demise of Corinthian, not all students where, there are many doing well and let's not discount those like all are unemployed. I loved my job and I love my students. I may be one of the few, but my president was pretty cool and didn't force a lot of nonsense down our throat.

I agree, especially with online. The Execs and Tina knew what was going on the entire time.

I won't claim to know anything about how these shady corporations get away with anything,

but I know staff and students spoke up over the years and even recorded conversations.

I am online admissions rep making more than 55,000 per year and very happy for any monitor from any group to pull any of my calls and listen to them, happy to be in the room with them while they are listening

Jail time for all CCI executives, divisionals, and RVPO's. They all knew what was going on. In particular, everyone in upper management from the California schools should serve jail time.
