So true. It was good their boss "retired" because he was the ultimate drone. Never had a vision for looking towards the future and never respected the good folks in the photo studios personal space.

All front office of photo studio. They are the true she-ros in EA and good at slipping under the radar. More support staff than people to do the actual work. All outsourced while full timers sit back and watch their jobs slip away. Sad to see when you walk in their door because the people who do the work truly have passion for their jobs, but are not being allowed to to do them.
I work with this person in ES and she is even more horrible and toxic than you people say in your posts. I'm amazed that the corporate machine keeps promoting her when she can't keep a stable staff under her. Always a mass exodus on her team. Folks cannot get away fast enough.
I know exactly the robot of which you speak from the NAD. She left a grim wake in NYC. Believe there was NO love lost when she was promoted and moved to ES.
is it just me or is NAD where all the ugly troll like women end up? everytime i think of someone from the NAD i imagine a woman with 300 cats, shoulder pads, a snout for a nose, and cankles. has anyone every seen the movie Witches? that scene where they meet in the the hall to discuss eliminating all the children of the world, ripping off their wigs and scratching their bald heads? that's what comes to mind when i think of the NAD.
I won't say her name but there's a woman in NAD who came from the east coast who makes everyone she encounters life a misery. More people leave her team and apparently she's had the same track record in NY. No personality and a back stabbing POS.
Barbie NAD marketing lead. She had done collector "marketing" for years, ran the failed Apptivity brand with poor direction (she knew nothing about kid marketing, real product development or apps) and then was moved into Barbie NAD marketing. Why do we do this? Stop putting clueless people in other groups - they don't get any less clueless.
Probably the same person who loves to take credit for all of their teams hard work (without ever giving them credit) to ever inflate their ego and position. Sadly there are a few of them in NYC.

Any of the four women who were in charge of girls marketing and design (and thus Barbie) who watched as Barbie ran into the ground 3 years in a row - and now they still all have jobs.
Must have those VP / SVP superpowers.... Any other company and all 4 would be fired.
The EA model shop is no better. The head of the shop is soooooooo inappropriate towards women that it's amazing that he's still employed. Sort of makes him my hero with his madmen mentality towards women in the workplace.
As for the ES model shop there are people that love the drama and love to create it. Throwing around how they have gotten people fired is mind blowing that they are still employed by mattel. So is they're protection by the higher ups. Yes there is.

SVP Marketing at FP Friends/Core. Incompetent to even be an Associate Marketing Manager. No decision making ability whatsoever. No product sense. Will debate and talk in circles and nothing happens at all. Tired of the endless streams of conversation that lead no where. He is completely clue-less. It's unbelievably frustrating to be in the company of this person and deal with the nonsensical discussions. How he got to be SVP is anyone's guess but he does belong to the 'club'.

Our Big Boss at MEGA. Pick the worst licenses, has a vague understanding of the business, makes useless comments that are abstract at best and will drive the business into the gutter like she did in NYC. Vague enough?
Yes.....no names but their positions will certainly do the trick. Example: ES model shop head supervisor - may have been a good model maker at some point in time but is a much, much better performer for the SVP that protects him from HR. The rumors why are the common "He's got something on the SVP" blackmail type which isn't that hard to see as possible but....certainly there is something shady going on. His inabilities are covered by his favored staff. His personal "days off" policy is beyond belief. A GREAT example of Mattel's unique and sanctioned NEPOTISM WITH BENEFITS. It doesn't get any better than this for those who should have been shown the door years ago. Next?
