If they teach out, do the campuses stay open? I was reading that they might just move all classes online for a teachout because its cheaper. Is that true? Would campus faculty be able to teach classes online? Please post real information here not jokes. Trying to figure out what to do and how to pay bills.

139, you laugh, but our former head of career services was among the first Heald Parthenon winners. Creepy in retrospect.
136, I wasn't referring to if they file BK, my scenario might only be possible if they choose to teach out
@179: I'm a Heald graduate. I can barely manage my finances. How do... I see what you did there.
The chances of being sold are better than a teach out and there is zero chance of a sale.
176 You should be in executive level management.
Maybe we can ask Career Services to find everyone jobs!
Work under the assumption that there is no teachout--under the current financial burdens Heald is facing, funding one would be very difficult and would end up being small scale. Apply for as many jobs as you can because it takes a long time to get one and, even with a teach out, you would need a new one eventually
Not all classes can be finished online so a 100% online teach-out isn't an option. A large part of teach-out is finding students other places to complete their education. But like some posters said, if there is no money for the overhead and payroll, a teach out can't happen.
You mean blowjobs right? I remember seeing Jack there, he did look busy.
Will there be another Parthenon during teach out? I hope so, there was so much blow going around at the last one. One of the best parties I've ever been to.
133 not if they claim bankruptcy and their assets are seized by the bank.
123, that might not be exactly true. If they decide to teach out, ED can still disburse Title IV funding to keep us open while we wind down operations. I'm not saying that this will happen, but it is one option.
If there is bankruptcy, there won't be a teach out. Since they can't pay there bills even down to the dumpsters, and they have zero new money coming, they don't have money for a teach out.
