Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

SSO -

AT&T can only Track if you are on THEIR network (uverse or public access wifi which uses AT&T) . My opinion is that AT&T is gearing towards SSO because it will be cheaper in the long run, as AT&T had to shut down the outsourced groups that were Not paid as much as the US AT&T call center employees. So, to save money after laying off so many employees SSO seems the best route. Now, at this time the US Call centers are having to expand their call center hours, which means that AT&T will be paying out more for hourly workers at higher a rate of pay than they were with the outsourced groups, plus electric, water and the other expenses that come with later hours, So, within the next year or two SSO will be AT&T's Priority! That being said, this can only be done if AT&T gets their SSO working correctly. As we all know, customers try and fail to use the SSO.

They never get one thing right before jumping to start another. Have been pushi ng SSO for years now and think they still have a few more to go. By the time they get it right most customers

will already be gone to companies that provide real customer service - T-Mobile e.g
