FYI: we have recieved over 750 computer access change orders so far for June. Which means so far those 750 won't have access. Get the picture? On top of that, we were told and are being given ot to process more. I am hopeing it's not just a mass layoff, but as of right now our reports show to be about a 13% in change access. Be prepared for anything right now. Questions. Please ask.

As an ER in College of Education, I had a year to go till I finished my degree (free) and then get the 35% pay increase. Black Monday took that all away from me. On the Bright Side, they are paying for my last year of classes.
Guys, sometimes I think getting the axe is not as nerve-racking as working in fear of it.
O'RLY? Riiiiiiiiiiight

About 10 managers were walked out yesterday, directors next, you peons at the end of the month.
Nope. Nope. Nope. June 1st has come and gone without layoffs and I'm sure the same can be said about June 15.
Fools - access does not change, enrollment, academics and finance have been working ground for months. No change in access has to be made to enroll ground. Quit trying to whitewash the situation. People will lose their jobs and giving people false information like you are trying to do is wrong.
june 1 and june 15 - these are the dates that online enrollment will gain access to enrolling ground - that's why all the computer access changes are occurring
Could the computer changes be related to the conversion to a new platform?

HR and IT - can you tell us when those access changes are supposed to be completed by, or effective by? Many say Layoff is June 1st, -probably due to the wording of original post, but then IT guy says last week of June / first week of July.. any more insight here?
Sounds like a plan. Cut now and make June 25 look not so bad.
Rather than announce they will be layoffs, like most corporations, guessing people will just disappear in mass. Quite frankly, many deserve as they spend most of day on they cell phones. Those who work hard and just don't beat the odds because of runs of bad QC'S are unfairly judged. Perhaps managers should also spend a bit more time working rather than personal business on their phones.
I'm sure this all in preparation for the when Gainful Employment act goes through July 1st, or related the verdict of the HLC and being on notice decision June 1.
You'd have to blind to not see this coming. Government is cracking down on For Profit and for good reason. All our Finance and Academics got laid off last round, and then last month all the ER's on the other campus in our area were laid off with no notification, which is how business operate, not institutes of higher education.
Enrollment teams who ar currently being remotely managed will all be gone
Any word on the Cleveland, Ohio campus? We have 13 enrollment reps, one manager, three college campus chairs, two student support staff members, and our campus director. We currently enroll for the College of Health Professions.
Phoenix
Will this impact all Colleges?
IT Guy- can you say where the 1200 are located and do you know if it has to do with degrees? I heard that it is any ER over the cap, can this be true?
This is good, it'll revive the stock price
As I predicted, UOP will eliminate most manager/director positions as they are going to try and pivot to a more not-for-.profit model. They are bleeding and can't afford to keep these idiots who know nothing about real higher education administration.
HR guy - this is very much appreciated
We actually had close to 1200 DOS orders come through for the last week of June and first week of July. Multiple directors and managers are listed in the disconnect order if anyone cares.
Interesting. But all computer access changes don't mean loss of access. Can you tell us more please?
Wondering if this applies to those who have not earned their degrees as well. Though that would be very sad if we had THAT many people who didn't get their degrees yet, so I imagine it's not the only criterion.
@103570--Are you related to Napolean Dynamite? Rah-Tard you be.
It is very sad because I know many who work hard and perform their job consistently well month after month and some who don't. I wonder if the layoffs even take that into consideration.
Location specific and is it those who have not completed their bachelors degree?
That's very sad. Is there a date?
This is such a delicious development. FU UOP incompetent managers and directors.
As of right now we have been processing for all states. From ER's, AC's, FC's, Managment to Directors for different departments. Online and Ground modalities. 😔
All in Phoenix or everywhere?
