BCG is at it again. 30% across the board here in Angola. Things are pretty dark here, everyone is worried if they will be the next one to get cut. Expats are the low hanging fruit. No one is safe, Green badges and Blue badges are getting cut. I'll be glad when this is all over so the one's that are left, possibly not me, can pick up the pieces and get back to business. This is a HUGE distraction causing a lack of focus on safety and work. There will be repercussions with the reduced work force but Chevron should know that by now, this isn't the first re-org / down sizing. This also isn't the first time BCG has performed this operation for CVX.

Best job to have is with BCG.
I don't understand how my ETC group and others are cruising through this reorganization with reduction targets of around 15%. Our projects are drying up because the BUs cannot spend money with us, corporate is making cuts to research. Yet we go through this nearly unscathed? Are we in la la land? Selling the farm to keep the tractor...
