It is so sad that Heald was once a prominent vocational institution, way before it was acquired by Nolan and sold to the greedy company (Corinthian), The demise of Heald is slowly coming to an end. The company is on life support, and I feel for the committed employees that are still holding on to hope that the company can be revived. I have too been with Heald, from when they were a non-profit, we were at our wits end then, with hopes to prosper and we did for a while, until we found out that we were sold to the greedy devil, who forced us to slave labor and recruit bodies, after another. It was no longer about changing lives, but meeting enrollment quotas and revenue bottom lines. I cried when I was laid off in 2012, because I have grown to love my peers, but how glad that I cut ties with the company. I feel bad for those of you that will have to look for a job and go through an interview and be asked about how it was working for Heald (Corinthians).
I hope you all can move on in a positive light. I'm sorry that you still have to endure the unknown. But also, I hope that reality will sink in slowly
