Be prepared AT&T is cancelling all of the WAH(work at home) projects with all of its contract companies. I was told the same thing - that things would get better come June and a bonus. Just got the news today - as of May 16th WAH Project with AT&T will be no more. If you haven't been told yet be prepared for it.

For those affected by the May 16, 2015, mass layoff from Convergys Work At Home AT&T project. A class action lawsuit has been filled against Convergys.
For those who want updates or to provide the firm with their information please go here www.warnlawyers.com
Do they offer jobs in there call centers for the laid off WAH people?
Anyone who works IN THE UNITED STATES for Convergys on the AT&T WAH project is being laid off for possible breach /theft /etc.... What is the worst part of this ?? NONE !! NOT ONE person who has been caught doing this is in the US .. So the honest hard working loyal dedicated people are being thrown to the wolves, and the guilty will continue to work. SHAMEFUL !
Yup I'm affected as well as 750 or so of my coworkers. Found out a couple days ago. Found out for real today.
yeap i got told yesterday too. this really sucks
Correct, all AT&T WAH projects are being terminated. However, this decision was not in regards to call volume but in regards to the data breach that occurred. Upon risk assessment it was determined by AT&T that @Home agents positions poses a significant risk for data theft/breaches. Given this information all 3rd party vendors are now required to reassign or lay off their employees in the @Home positions for AT&T. This is a permanent decision and will not be re-evaluated. Most 3rd party vendors are doing what they can to move these agents into physical site locations, however numbers are limited.
