Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Layoffs in June?

EIA supplies are at 80-year high - this is not sustainable, we'll have more layoffs, once HAL takes over things will turn even more ugly.

The HAL/BHI merger layoffs haven't even started yet ..guessing 15,000 will go in Q3. Small satisfaction is that BHI leadership team and all BHI VP's are toast

Will HAL have $35B to close that? Or would they rather pay us $3.5?

Doing the maths of it, and correct me if I am wrong, 40x1.2+19=$67 per stock... BHI stocks can rebound above that number if the deal doesn't close...

In a few months, HAL won't be big enough to make the BH deal. Bleeding people at a rate of around 500/month. No end in sight. Well, I guess the end is in sight in one respect.
