Different standards

How can you hold two managers to different standards. Ignore faults of one and write up the other.

100% true and accurate. Standards, fairness and ethics have nothing to do with this. One assistant could be carrying the store, doing all the heavy lifting but be harassed and driven out because they make more.

That's what I had to do. I was in charge of closing the store. Each night the managers would leave the register money picks on the floor and throughout the store. It was company policy to bring them immediately to the safe. After I reported it...... all the managers manufactured a story that it was me who was leaving the money. That and being sworn at everyday that if I report them, that they would "Lie" and say it was me. I had to spend two hours of each day looking in throughout several locations in the store for bags of money that should have never been dropped on the floor or thrown behind a palette of merchandise. It was true cazyness each day working there until I had no other option but to quit because no one would follow the money handling policy. It was working with a bunch of thugs each day. They were managers in name only who should have never been given any responsibility whatsoever.

Because they obviously want one to stay........and one to go!!!! That's staples notorious way. Of never being professional. ...they just squeeze you out....or you quit due to hostile envioment.

That's what they do.
