Would Mattel just relocate its worldwide headquarters and consolidate other offices to a cheaper place? Look at Toyota, pulling out of Torrance and moving to Plano Texas. They own that town. I thought that was impossible when I heard it, but it happened. And they're MAKING money! That's a great example of long-range planning. Mattel can't see past the next shareholder update.

That be a smart thing for Mattel to do so that means its definitely not happening. Plano? Have you looked at LA is a real dump and a half. CA is the worst run state in the union so from that standpoint I would not blame them to move. Cost of living is better in TX too. Barbie & HW would never go for it. CA is in Mattel's DNA.

Not possible. Please stop making up crazy rumors just for shock value. You're diluting the legitimacy of the valid rumors shared here. People should start citing their sources instead of just posting wild stuff pulled out of their ass.
Now this is just wild speculation. None of the execs would make that move. Unless that's their plan to thin the upper crust herd.
Maybe not such a bad thing to hope for. Of course Mattel would pay less in TX. Everything is bigger there except salaries.
