And here i am. I was wrong, they let 7 office workers go today
@ CameronCares, No official word yet on layoffs this Friday, But with the backlog still above 70 million dont think they will happen just yet.
But then again i may be on here Friday saying i was wrong.
To be honest everyone is being very tight lipped here in Houston about any layoffs, i think they are keeping everything on the down low as long as they can, but we keep hearing rumors that there will be layoffs on Friday. Plus if things don't get better this maybe a continues thing for the rest of the year. Everyone needs to pray for oil prices to go back up. It's not just Cameron that's hurting, there are alot of families out there that have lost one or their only income. Its rough tight now.
So far okc v&m hasn't had any layoffs. But the rumor is it will happen this Friday 3/20... Anybody have any info too share on this??
Do those posting have any evidence?
These are continuous cuts they've been happening for quite a long time. This is the pave to way for overseas investment, and expand operations there. Labor cost as well as operation overhead. Expansion has been happening in China for quite a long time now. So this should come as no surprise. Management will follow as part of restructuring overseas.
So where will the new cuts happen? will there be more layoffs in the corporate divisions? Whats going to happen next year? Is this the end of Cameron?
Good Luck to all.....
All plants? Ville Platte? LR?
