Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

1% is a low number, unless...

It'a a low number unless you're one of them. I'm sorry to everyone who may have lost their job today. It is truly a shame when loyal honest workers are let go because of $$$$$ in favor of people who may be connected to more people. The names I'm hear from FP today- unbelievable. Loyal people who worked for a cut throat disloyal company.

It was 1% only because they included in the count areas around the world that were not included in the layoffs. Management only knows how to fudge numbers (stock price was the highest when upper management got their long term bonus). Number should be higher if you only take the impacted base

Right, I am a center of my own universe, why would I care if it was 1% or less or more. All what matters is that I am gone after 11 years of long days, working weekends, missing family things, etc. It was so easy for them. I will bounce back!
