Good luck to all...today is the blood bath.... We can only hope the VPs get hit as well not just the peons making peanuts which wont effect the bottom line much at all....

I was told 7 weeks ago that I'd be given a date in 2 weeks. I still haven't heard anything, HR higher up is saying they didn't say that. Praying this is my last day.
The upper management in Mattel/Fisher-Price needs to go. They are absolutely clueless when it comes to the modern consumer. Enough of the 50+ politically gained positions. One success should not a VP make! Enough watch-me toys! Vreate products that engage the children in a smart phone obsessed culture. If they spent as much time creating engaging products as they did with their BS PLM system and never ending acronyms they wouldn't be in the sorry state they find themselves in.
This company needs a high level enema!
Cheers all....here to hoping that this includes not only to VPs though...this has to go even higher to the biggest decision makers and executives in charge of this mess...hoping that there is some ownership that happens here. They can't only be responsible when there is victories - the "buck" stops with them and should be responsible when there is defeat. jus' sayin'........if Mattel wants true change this is the only way change will happen.
