280, thanks for telling us something we've known for months. Your post adds nothing to the conversation. Moving forward, we know as of this morning there are 6 interested buyers both non and for-profit. We are closer than we ever have been before. I honestly don't think we'll get Cal Grant for April(too much liability due to thee $100 mill. B of A Loan) but we'll most likely reapply and reconcile that relationship in order to get it back after the sale.
Let's get some actual substance and updated information on here rather than whiny, inane good-for-nothing employees that do nothing for the company other than wish for it's downfall.

No buyer for Heald. Not happening. The CA AG has made it clear that the liabilities won't be released on sale. WASC has told Heald that its accreditation is in jeopardy. The enrollments are fast going to ZERO. Heald hasn't paid it's vendors and is behind in the rent.
Um, no. The California attorney general did not "insert herself" into the sale of the non California schools. Her office's only involvement has been to state that a future owner would not be released from the lawsuit. She wouldn't have standing or jurisdiction over the other schools.
I hope the California AG does the right thing and closes down these greedy, money grubbing, hypocritical shysters.
Yes, there are buyers for Heald. The AG has inserted herself into the sale process, just like she did with the California schools and the ECMC deal. I'm not surprised she balked at selling CCi schools to a debt collector. I really don't appriate her holding up the Heald sale, but I do have to agree with her balking at selling to a debt collector. That seems like an obviously bad destination for any school. While the AG is making the process take longer, we will end up in a better situation than being with ECMC. The wait will be worth it. Yes, Heald is a for-profit school. There are pros and cons. The people at Heald have heart and the best of intentions. Heald Strong.

I am hoping most of the people posting here are trolls and don't work for Heald. If they are Heald employees, I hope I never meet them and certainly don't work at the same campus, as they are unprofessional and obnoxious.
