If Bank of America fails to renegotiate the $100 million loan, Heald will close the next day. If Heald fails to get the Cal Grants reinstated after April 1st, it will close the next day.

Heald has been an educational institution for 150 years. Even if we assume it is in "middle age," that would put closing sometime around 2165.

If CCI files for BK then Heald shuts down immediately as it loses all eligibility for Federal Aid. Heald could shut down within a matter of days as it for all practical purposes spent the Cal Grant funds.
