It's sleek, it's really fast, battery life is much better. And the best part of it is that Samsung did this without using a Snapdragon processor in it, which is a remarkable achievement. This definitely is an ante up for everyone else to step it up.

Samsung is fighting back hard. Galaxy S6 is advertised on this site.
Is it all about speed? Apple seems to do fine without the fastest processor.
A guy named Kiang Mong-song,a high ranking executive at TSMC, jumped ship and left for Samsung giving them all of TSMCs trade secrets and giving Samsung the edge and allowing them to get to 14nm first. They're really dirty company and lawsuits are pending. TSMC will probably be the first to 10 nm though Samsung's 14nm is not truely 14nm but only slightly smaller than 20nm. That's why the Exynos is only marginally faster than 810 even though Exynos is 14nm and 810 is 20nm. And that's only on some benchmarks. On others, the 810 is still faster.

Is it really a different chip? Qualcomm bought the company who was developing that technology and it's going to work with the chipset. I don't think it's a single chip. It's all over the news.
Ultra sonic finger print is in a different chip. Nothing stops Samsung from buying that chip, like the modem chip.
next snapdragon has finger print sensor and cognitive intelligence. Samsung will not have these. It's the next big thing.
Qualcomm will regain its supremacy with its next chipset offering. Samsung will continue to use far superior Qualcomm chipsets.
it doesn't make any sense for Sammy to use anyone else processor anymore as they are risking exynos on their flagship phone. like their lte modem they release for Korean market as it is not good enough for international market....once u loose the socket u loose the socket.....there were some articles about Sammy selling exynos to other phone manufacturers....so their coming back to Qcom will depend on exynos failure ....as far as foundry....tsmc and Samsung will ping pong....
My concern of the month is that everyone (QC, AAPL) seems to be becoming dependent on Samsung as the sole source of 14nm, with TSMC falling behind. Does anyone knowledgeable of fabrication issues have a sense of any possibly possible alternative for QC (and AAPL, for that matter) other than being at Samsung's mercy as sole source for 14nm? Or some other reason why this is not a concern?
QC does not need to worry about Galaxy S6, but QC does need to worry about what is to follow. Will Samsung use its own chips across the board?
