Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Midland is dead

Permian rig count dropped so quick. Baker share of the rig in this region is close to 0. We are at the very bottom now. Second phase of lay off is already announced. Contact is already made last weekend and let-go employees will meet HR for severance package this week. We all thought the firing was over in Feb.

Rig count may be at zero in the Permian....but the layoffs are still not over for all the ancillary workers...ie. welders, machine shops, and suppliers, management, HR. We have the remainder of 2015 to watch those layoffs.
