We need to flood Follett boards directors mail with threats that we will go to the media if they do not hear our complaints. I plan on sending a letter with my real name and address to the board this week. I have also talked with a lawyer and there is no harm in doing so. It's my right as an employee. If they fire me it's grounds for a retaliation lawsuit. If you need the address please let me know and I will post it.

You don’t understand the structure of the B of D. Think of the outside directors as advisors. The family runs Follett. The family holds family only meetings after the B of D meeting (top secret). Bringing in MLS (aka Bloody Mary) gives the family plausible deniability as to the pain they’ve wrought on the dedicated associates but rest assured that she is carrying out the directions of the controlling branch of the family. Letters to the board will fall on deaf ears.
There is an old Japanese saying that goes "The Nail That Stands up Gets Hammered Down." Remember that you work here at their discretion. That's not a threat, the rest of us also work at the discretion of a bunch of incompetent toadies, but there are less destructive ways of channeling your righteous discontent out there. Not to mention at first glance one would think this a means to try and shake out into the open all those unhappy survivors in order to line them up against a metaphoric wall as it were.
