Schlumbeger would not want a valve company, different end of the business. V&M was restructured to make it more attractive to off load and fits right into GE manufacturing so-called expertise.

This is not true and is just someone trying to stir things up. Please ignore these lies. And for those of you who think its funny to spread these lies, please keep in mind these are real peoples lives you are messing with. These people have families that depend on them and it is not funny to spread rumors and make people panic. Getting let go off or terminated is a horrible thing and I do not wish it for anyone. So I beg you please stop coming on here and spreading lies. If you have facts then present them if not then please refrain.

I hope GE is a better employer than Cameron!

V&M is tied into OneSubsea, which is 60% Cameron, 40% Schlumberger. Unless Schlumberger is pulling out or has agreed to sell their 40%, I don't see a sale happening. Not saying it isn't possible. SEC would have to be notified, proper paperwork filed, approval still would need to be given.

Based upon what information? GE did buy Compression, I believe. So far none of the news have reported anything else.
