They dont give a shiit if you take a day off or not cause they are going to take it off everyones check anyway. Whether you take the day or you don't.
Ya, I'm surprised that they haven't released anything yet as it was supposed to come out this week (there's still time though). My guess is that they're waiting for the Employee Connect portal to get finished and someone is dropping the ball as per usual.
considering it starts next week, it's comical that there has been no announcement about it... I guess business units are just doing whatever they want, and payroll is deducting regardless...
Would a 10% pay deduction across all of the Weatherford worldwide plants help save more jobs? Maybe Canada's got it right 90% of something is better than nothing?
Back to my last comment about having every Friday off, they also said payroll will be deducting our wages automatically and we are on salary so I guess everyone is affected
Working at the completions unit in Edmonton offof 17st. We where giving a schedule where half the guys are off one Friday starting next week, and the second half are going to be off the following Friday until September. Nothing more has been said to us about it.
I'm not sure how you think that 1 unpaid day off every 2 weeks isn't a pay cut. It's a temporary 10% pay decrease for Salary employees. They're not done closing shops in Canada.
Come on, DRUG Test are a prerequisite to a layoff, this has been going on for years and so has the furlough schedules, it's funny, hourly employees lose money, salaried employees get the same furlough days but don't loose money. I've been checking this sight a lot and really think they are going to close some facilities and move the product lines to the NEW facility the built in Katy, Texas anyone else think that way?
There will be a portal on Employee connect to book off furlough days much like the current system for booking off vacation days. You will be able to take the days off whenever you want (but won't be able to take them all in a row) and as long as you take your 11 days off before the end of the furlough program. 1 day's pay will still be deducted from each paycheck no matter when you take the days off.
Drug tests?
