Lean manufacturing simply put is cheaper labor. That means in the process of gaining Proficiency in a global market. Setting profit margins at astronomical profit gains. The overseas manufacturing is necessary therefore other processes such as Supervisory, Management, Administrative Personnel etc. In those locations are imperative. Cutting back the work force in the US. Is a necessary part of this move.
