Thread regarding Follett layoffs

What the heck???

What does anyone at that godforsaken company think they'll do better and start making money??? I mean what company would invest in a 500,000+ square feet warehouse... when digital eBooks are the trend? Why would you spend over $40 million dollars leasing a stupidly designed building that looks like it was designed by a bunch of severely disabled people (actually I take that back they actually have more common sense than Follett) so supposedly we could interact more where in fact we see less of everyone else... except for our neighbor because we are literally sitting on top of them.

And what the heck is with Brytewave and this concept of "Academics pro utilities and tools..." or whatever its called? Do you really plan on getting ahead by using technology that is older than our grandparents???

you spend over $40 million dollars leasing a stupidly designed building. Didn't you know that it's better than Google? And the young associates love it. And remember to tell the emperor how great her new clothes are! Pathetic!

That is the strategy. When students use Brytewave, they will run quickly back to printed text and the warehouse will be used.

The Apple App Store shows that customer reviews of brytewave give one star out of five stars, the lowest rating possible. Here is a recent customer review. Worst app I ever used, dated March 6, 2015.
