KUDOS TO LB AUTO PRGM

Just completed an interview with an employer who has hired grads from L.B. Auto prgm.

He said "he prefers Wyotech to UTI grads. They have demonstrated more hand on ability and professionalism than others from UTI" Just goes to show how we have been able to make a difference. I just hope the future of L.B. Auto remains the same. Just saying

Anonymous68392 - I second all of that! We have programs that grads can get jobs in, but only if they're not knuckle-dragging, sneering assholes. I would say that about half the students I see go through Admissions (I'm in admin, but not admissions) are patently unemployable. There's no amount of training that's going to make them into productive citizens and it is just a waste of tens of thousands of taxpayer provided financial aid to even try.

Wyotech Long Beach is the perfect example of how this company has been run. They have no standards for students or employees. They will enroll people who can't read above a 3rd grade level or even speak English. The only legit programs there are MA and Auto but even those are suffering. Nothing but ex-cons, gang members and grown adults acting like 15 year olds. As for the employees, there's probably only a handful that actually care about the students and not one of them works in admissions. My suggestion would to make the main building an MA/Medical billing building and keep the other building as Auto. Do away with all other programs. Fire everyone in admissions. Starting with the director.

320: I probably agree with you. It's sad, though. WyoTech used to be a legitimate source of pride for us - relatively ethically run and incredible instructors. It just went all to shit though, didn't it? F***ing Massimino Keystone Kops "leadership" team!

Bull shit. Nobody prefers any students out of any program from that campus.

266: It's the Long Beach campus of WyoTech's automotive program, of course. Are you not an employee of CCI? You should have known that.
