Some of the oldest companies in the Tech sector are currently trading at multi-year highs

Has nothing to do with what they think about the value - they may need cash to fund ventures, charity, purchases, etc

I'm sure you can Google it. Brin sold half his class C shares, and the two co-founders plan to sell 4.4 billion with a "B" in stock--which I believe is half their remaining shares.
