With the elevate training I believe it involved managers as well, to elevate. If that's the case why do my managers not greet customers? All they do is gate keep with saying bring them a quote so they can tell you to put in a perk even though they know nothing about the customer. Sounds like laziness.

The ever so classic what do ya got? Can we get a perk out of it? No protection. We'll we got to get something with it. That type of mentality breeds bad managers. Bad managers breed people leaving jobs.
Elevate is BS. It’s just Earn the Right renamed. It’s not how sales work in the real world.
I repeatedly tell my managers to not coach me to a sale that personally wasn't observed. If they try to document the conversation, the note in the comments from me is always something along the lines of "management was in back office, knows nothing about my sale or customer, this can be verified by viewing security footage, coaching is invalid"
