Weekend & RTO

Hi there,

New to The Layoff, could not find an easy search option on my phones browser to see if this has already been discussed.

I will have to go into the office on Saturday for a year end deliverable. Do weekends count towards RTO? Would love for that day to offset next week for a break.

Thanks all & Happy Holidays during this crazy time.

yes it counts. but if you aren't required to work on weekends normally, and you keep showing up on the report as being in office sat or sun you can expect some inquiry from your manager to check that you're not gaming it somehow (I.e. you happen to drive by the location on the weekend so you stop and swipe)

this is what we've come to... it's disgraceful

Since there is not an “easy” option to do this you want others to do your work?

Weekends do count from a reporting standard but if you don't normally work weekends and your manager decided to dig down into the days you are working in office they may be having a conversation with you. I'd say in your case where you are required to go in on a weekend you have no problem.

It would count for this week. Weeks run Sunday through Saturday

It depends on your LOB. I’m in Tech and it counts for ours.
