I work from home, the key word being WORK...I can go to the office and be a slug though.
RTO is the biggest productivity scam ever. The RTO mob is he-l bent and just mostly jealous of WFH. Those are the folks who CONSTANTLY say "that's what you were hired for" or " if you don't like RTO, find employment elsewhere..." RTO is no golden goose, nobody is doing anything more in the office. If anything they are doing less. GIve it a rest.
Most companies are going back to the office 5 days a week. If this is going to affect your life, then start looking, its definitely coming. I'm thinking min, 3 days if the 5 day thing gets squashed. Certain groups will certainly be an exception, but for some groups, remote working is tough. To the person who said VZ is worried about losing more people, your delusional. VZ does not care....your a number, and when you leave or even if your riffed, someone else will pick up the slack and the company will move on....everyone is replaceable.
Yes
Contract also says if the company needs the employees in the office, they must return. What’s the big deal with RTO, you were hired to do so!!’
Monkey see - monkey do. If that doesn't resinate then listen to Trump, Bezos, and musk talk. There's a bounty on the WFH model.
Are we are next OP?
Me no thunk so.
4 daze a week being announced in Miami tomorrow! No doubt all the top leaderz will be there to do it.
My contract says WFH until Aug 2026. To the jealous you can kiss my taint.
Haha
AT&T has always been more aggressive with RTO than Vz. Vz closed too many offices. And Vz is less willing to lose their workforce than AT&T is.
Yes once they buy more buildings and desk spots.
Yes, phase 2 starts 5 days a week 9 hours a day starts in 2nd qtr.
Yes, more than likely.
