The Drill sergeant person was trying to get the main character of the movie to voluntarily drop out of pilot school by making him miserable.

This is being compared to Fiserv trying to get associates to quit by making them miserable.

The difference is the Drill sergeant wants to make superior aviators, and Fiserv wants to keep the money.

The movie came out in 1982. Many on this site weren't able to get into R rated movies, maybe even before they were born.

Richard Gere, Debra Winger. Good movie to check out.

I'm an old boomer who saw the movie when it came out.
