I heard a rumor that in the next year Nike will be putting together early retirement packages and anyone over the age of 55 will be able to volunteer. Anyone know if there is any substance behind this rumor?

Early retirements are only offered to failing C level folks. Like JD, MM, and etc…
Should have done that with the last round of layoffs.
Well there’s been a lot of “un-Nike like” that has been going on especially for the past few years, so no surprise here.
This would be the first time ever if true, really un-Nike like. Sounds more like intel behavior.
