ACÁ makes money on risk adjustment. To the tune of 250 million last year in risk adjustment back to the company. It’s is a revenue builder.

ACA members are very heavy benefit users. I don't know how we make any profit from these plans.

Hot take.

Company splits. Only offers ACA and Medicare and Commercial Group.

To be a fly on the wall.

Didn't Anand create the Sales COE? How is that working out?

I could see Aetna exiting some business similar to what they did with Medicare. Also they should sell off meritain or whatever its called and dump medicaid since it's clear they can't really compete in that space. All the noise, layoffs etc cc are going to make it hard for Aetna and cvs to win new business. Nobody wants to align with a loser.

If the company was smart they hire back some layoffs from the past 3 years at a higher salary to fix things. Nothing like a bunch of people who were burned by the system to fix the system.

What reorgs were announced?

The big three will get broken up. Not if, when.

Congress can announce hearings. Let's see some people get call3d to testify.

Many of the debt obligations have covenants, which may include stock or market cap not falling below a certain level. The dividend is at serious risk right now as it is draining 3 billion a year. I also think benefits may get cut as well. Limit equity to vp and above for starters

The real issue is that as the stock continues to free fall corporate won't be transparent about things and instead tell people that everything is fine keep working even as the ship starts to sink. The question is what price level does the stock drop to before it triggers serious changes/cutbacks.

To the person who mentioned the big 3, don't people remember when was big 4 or big 5 etc. They kept shrinking because su-ked at what do.
Just like how CVS keeps hiring people from GE, that company sank and had to be split ...Let's hire bad leaders and hope they do better here

Well, when you hire management consultants fresh out of Big 3, and their only skill set is “transformation”, they focus more on moving bodies than our customer value :)

In all seriousness, design has been dead silent for ~3 months. I predict January changes for us

This company is so d-mb thinking that they are a reorg away from greatness. This is a dumpster fire
