Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Come on Grant -

Come on Grant. Are we going to go into the new year with the same people who have inspired the mass exodus of teammates, at the heart of the discord amongst leadership and simply destroyed since they came on board? The holiday gift we are all hoping is coming. No spend needed - only savings. We will all show up for that holiday party.

What is up with hiring Senior Audit Managers with zero audit experience?!?! You cannot even make up the craziness that happens here.

If only audit could get audits done, that would be great. What have they been doing for the last 5 years? This and that but apparently not audits.

More like Grant go back to compliance you are in over your head. Audit is a revolving door making one bad decision after another. Audit is hiring people into positions they have no business being in. I hope the regulators wake up, they are asleep at the wheel.

I make it a point to avoid the people that came from MUFG with DD. Now we have the USAA folks taking over like cockroaches. Has anyone else noticed the OCC cease and desist order that included internal audit? Now they bend and break rules to hire their USAA friends. The USAA folks are very cliquey.

@deoi+1w1yQms6 TW did not leave voluntarily. She made that very clear.

Did TW leave on her own or was she pushed out?

It is the lack of acknowledgement of how wrong this has all gone for me. Denise disappears and that is supposed to right the wrong but so much wrong was able to stay. Silence from Grant and EL that they even see the problems in front of them. Slap in the face. You wonder why we don't have confidence and allegiance.

You all thought it would be different when Denise was fired. Look around, it doesn’t matter who leads these various business entities within this bank. The direction still comes from the same person and until that changes you get more of the same. Talented people are still leaving in droves and EL doesn’t care.

Let's be clear there were two puppet masters in the destruction of TAS and that was Denise and continues to be MercyAnne. Anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea what has been going on. How MAM is still here continues is confounding to all of us that stuck around. She along with MM are barnacles. You can't get rid of them without a chisel. Layer on now Herbecht who can't seem to grow a pair to get rid of anyone. Fear, maybe. Worried about his own job, probably. So here we are. 2025 just more of the same.

It will take time to un-mess up what DD did. It is easy to destroy something quickly, very hard and time consuming to build it back. This department would be so much better off if they had brought in anyone but her; she single handily ripped apart and destroyed two great departments.

Grant is a tool himself. Just getting a big payday.

I think he still has to bring in more new leaders (or bring back more of the good leaders that left) before he can get rid of the ones that ran off the good leaders.
