Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Does T want productivity or obedience?

Top performers do more in less time and they are driven to “over”achieve when it equates to more personal time.

It seems like the original poster just wants to boost their ego. Sociopath post.

T puts a higher emphasis on the employee exiting the company over performance, innovation, productivity or obedience

Doesn’t matter. I’ll just do my job and sit there on my phone waiting for the timer to wind down. 99% of what I do is just busy work and isn’t challenging in the least bit. They pay me to follow the step by step process and not think outside the box, so that’s what I do.

They don’t care about productivity, they would rather you spend 4-5 hours per day commuting, socializing, and getting lunch.

Made very clear with 8x5 RTO

Bad metrics drive the bad behavior. My group measures how many orders you release, not how many are correct. My group focuses on fixing orders at time of installation not on order accuracy. My group offers no formal training, expects team to train. Can't wait to say toddler, adios, good bye.
