Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Mid Markets 2025 Compensation

Just got the calendar invite for Thursday at 1. I’ve long heard rumors and mumblings about changes and read on a thread suggesting 10k off base and adding 15k to at risk. Can anyone confirm or offer credible info? Will newer hires also be affected? Can’t they just surplus us… 😭

You’ll also have to hit a certain % attain before getting paid. No longer paid on every sale. They really do hate us.

10k cut in salary. Adding 15k to at risk. Upping the dedicated quota and lowering the shared quota. Have a nice Christmas you filthy animal!

Don't post anything critical of stankey on this site. They are now deleting (censoring) posts they don't like and posts they disagree with. I wouldn't put it past this site to share your identiying log files with stankey so he can identify you. Read the privacy policy and tell me I'm wrong. This site is a bait & switch. Bait you in to let you vent truthfully and then sells your information to identify you. Wow. UnAmerican a-holes. Just wow.

They will squeeze the sales group for a few years before a surplus is even considered. Too easy getting people to voluntarily leave.

Be careful what you wish for. They aren’t bothering with surplussing in Midmarket these days. They’ve fired several people off of a few teams in the last few weeks/month in our market. No pips, No plans, just called them and let them go based on “performance”. Some were less than 6 months with the company.
