There was plenty of notice given by folks in the know that a RIF globally would be executed Monday through Wednesday though this last day was an acceleration of the FGS plans that wee supposed to place on 11/25.
The US should be fully wrapped up by the EOD Tuesday. The list was comprised of folks who had horrible RTO and Sapience numbers or were Remote Workers. Some of those were saved if they were exceptional or critical associates.... the cost? Someone else lost their job.
They have stomped on contractors as well even if they were billable.
The go forward message is clear to comply with Frank's policies on RTO and Sapience. That is four days (M-Th) with at least 8 hours in the office AND 8 hours of working time. I have seen some notes about at least 7, but I would just go with 8.
If you work in an area where the state mandates a lunch break, then that is 9 hours. If you do not, and you skip lunches for meetings, then 8.
I have no clue how we push innovation, but I guess that is why all that matters is cyber security. Good luck everyone
