I got a call from dept head then HR joined (both via Teams, I'm a field rep).
Very vague reasons, severance was offered, considering legal actions before signing anything.
Are you being offered severance?
I did not receive an explanation other than a "realignment of the company". No notice, effective immediately. I was pulled into a one and one meeting (a meeting we had every month) and HR was in the meeting as well and that's when they told me. Worst company I ever worked for and VERY glad to have been laid off from there.
Yes. Just got it. How are they not giving 60 days notice ?
