So many rumors flying around here and in the office. Can anyone who’s heard something legitimate say something about this alleged reaping set to happen early next week?

According to this site Fiserv only has filed 6 WARN notices from Oct. 2009 to Jan. 2024.
But certainly many more were laid off than these.

Well to the response about rumor mill/warn act…just watch and observe.. rumors are rampant in Omaha too.
This is how you know this board is just a gossip mill. Anyone with half a brain can google and see WARN act is 50 or more employees at a site. If they lay off 20 out of 1k to 3k for each site what percentage is that? Just normal every day course of business. Some of you were either born yesterday or never worked in corporate America. Frank's eternal toddlers.
Fiserv is not shutting down an office and skirting by the other requirement for a WARN notice by spreading the impacts geographically. For an action like this, they do not have to inform the government, at least in the USA.

The evidence will be Monday and Tuesday.
I can say that thousands of roles will be laid off Monday and Tuesday. If you are not coming to the office you will not get severance either. FIG is being cut globally and rumour has it that the company is planning of buying something big next year. Money is not a problem its random.
Sapience is also being looked at heavily and ID in APAC and gibbons wants those on senior grades to be doing more than their contractual hours and be in 5 days a week. It is cr-p.

Complete lack of understanding of how people work is driving this RIF. No care for contributions or critically of role. Simply an equation for a megalomaniac on office attendance. A nonsensical measurement at best. A rich dinosaur is driving this rif. Sad that this is how a pathetic human expresses greed.
Only thing I would add is the only group I know is participating is FIG. This is a global cut.

Everything is very vague. Is this cut across the board? A lot of teams are already on skeleton crew already.
There is a mad dash for projects to be 'completed' by Tuesday. Sapience hours are being cross referenced to clarity projects to identify who is and isn't working. It's not rocket surgery.

I don’t know exact numbers other than my own but there were 70 other people leaders on a call this afternoon who also had their marching orders. Monday and Tuesday with Tuesday targeted for mostly remote. If you’ve found yourself on the sapience/badge reports as being low I’d be concerned
