AT&T’s return-to-work policy unfairly burdens working moms

AT&T’s return-to-work policy unfairly burdens working moms by forcing them to choose between their jobs and their families. The lack of flexibility—no remote or hybrid options—makes it nearly impossible for mothers to balance work with getting their kids to and from school, even with before/after care. This policy feels discriminatory, as it ignores the unique challenges mothers face. AT&T needs to recognize that flexibility isn’t just a “mother’s issue”—it’s essential in today’s workplace. Working moms deserve support, not policies that push them out.

Yea, my wife and I both worked at an office when our kids were young. You make it work. And you will probably have to pay for it. So either pay for child care or quit. That's how it works. It's not discriminatory. It's called adulting.

Why do you think they cater so much to the identities that are most likely to not have kids. Hipster Dufuses and G-ys love ATT along with those weirdo single people 30 and above.

I had been a remote worker most of my career with AT&T and there were very few times I needed to leave during the workday to either drop off or pick up my children. The expectation was at a minimum I would be logged in and available 5 days a week, 8 hours a day on top of being on call 24X7. May not be easy all the time but it can be done.

Sorry, but the hard fact is, they don’t care and it’s really not their problem. As a working dad, I’m in a similar boat and just have to do the best that I can to get the kids to school and home. It su-ks to have to pay the very expensive before and after care expenses ($400/wk 2 kids) that I didn’t have before RTO. Only thing I can do is try and find another job that is TW, closer to home, more flexible or find a way to make more money.

I agree. Unfortunately, T leadership does not care. They are globalists and they are against the nuclear family. They want slaves, without any life outside of T.
